Red Lentils

Red lentils are one of the easiest legumes to cook, they are packed with protein, iron and fibre. They are used in various savoury dishes such as curries, soups and dahls.

Lentils are anything but plain, they are fantastically manipulative, in the sense that whatever flavor you give them, they will soak it up and enhance it even more. Not like other pulses, lentils do not need to be soaked, you can simply rinse them and then start the cooking procedure.
